CARTER Esqr. v NICHOLDS. On the attachment obtained by ROBERT CARTER, Esqr..against the Estate of JOHN NICHOLDS which attachment was served on eighteen sides of tann’d leather, one old bed, rug, blankett, and old bedstead, one horse, one mare colt about two years old, three old chairs, two old chests, twenty one old lasts ; on Oath of said CARTER and the evidence of WILLIAM EDWARDS and WILLIAM MCDADE in this matter, Judgment is granted Plt. for two thousand sixty six pounds of tobacco and costs, and ordered in case the goods shall not be replevied as the Law directs, that they be sold and disposed of for and towards satisfaction of this Judgment in the same manner as goods taken in execution upon a Writ of scirefacias and the Attachment is continued til next court.

At a Court held for Lancaster County on Tuesday the 12th of May 1730 for the Proof of Public Claims

McDADE’s Order p Cert. WILLIAM MCDADE making Oath that he had not received any satisfaction for his taking up a Negro woman belonging to JAMES WEBB of this county, ordered the Clerk of the Court certifye the same to the General Assembly.
