Will of Charles McDade, Jr.

The State of Alabama

Montgomery County

In the name of God, I Charles McDade of the County of Montgomery and State of Alabama, being of sound and in full possession of my reasoning faculties, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. Hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me, to wit as follows;

First, I direct that my body be decently buried and that the expenses be first paid by my executor out of my estate.

Second - It is my wish and I hereby direct that all of my just debts be paid.

Third - I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Cynthia McDade the following described real estate.

To wit: The west half of the North East quarter of Section Three Township Fifteen Range Twenty, also The East half of the North West quarter of Section Three
Township Fifteen and Range Twenty, containing one hundred sixty seven acres more or less. Three cows and calves such as she may select. Two mules such as she
may select. Together with all household and kitchen furniture of which I may __ possessed one Sundown one buggy and one two horse wagon and harness and the
necessary farm implements, one calendar clock, and one gold watch and Six Hundred Dollars in cash, to have and to hold during her life time and at her death to
be equally divided among my children. And I hereby appoint my son Dr. James McDade, Trustee and advisor for his mother and direct that he provide well and
liberally for comfort and happiness so far as the means in hand for her benefit will allow.

Fourth - I will and give to my son John McDade the Conway Place Eighty acres and also Sixty acres of the Mitchell Place, making in all one hundred and forty
acres (140). To my son Walter R. McDade one hundred forty acres (140) of the Mitchell and Lide tracts. To my daughter Rebecca E. Henderson the Jones tract of one hundred twenty acres. The Willis Place I give to my son Charles E. McDade and my two daughters Sallie A. Goodwyn, wife of E. J. Goodwyn and Martha L. Roney, wife of Wm. H. Roney, one hundred and thirty three and 1/3 acres each. The Washington Place of one hundred and five acres, I give to my son Dr. James McDade. The Waugh Place of Four Hundred and twenty acres (420) I give equally to my son Martin W. McDade and my three daughters Eliza Pliler, wife of J. W. Pliler, Mary Jane Perkins and Francis C. Waugh one hundred and five acres to each (105).

Fifth - I hereby direct and require my sons John, Walter and Charles and my daughters Rebecca E. Henderson, Sallie A. Goodwyn and Martha L. Roney each
to pay to my executors the sum of Fifty Dollars each, making the sum of three hundred dollars (300.00) and my said executor shall pay said Three Hundred Dollars
to my son Martin W. McDade and my daughters Eliza Pliler, Mary Jane Perkins and Francis C. Waugh seventy five dollars to each, for the purpose of making them
each equal in accordance to my belief and judgement with said sons and daughters.

Sixth - I hereby constitute and appoint my son John McDade Executors of this my last will and testament and having perfect confidence in their honesty and integrity, I hereby ask the court not to require them to give bond. As witness my hand and seal.

Seventh - It is my will and I hereby direct that the rest and residue of my estate of whatever character or nature be equally divided between my children.
