Mebane - Jan 7 - Charles Andrew McDade, 75, retired farmer of Mebane, died at his home this morning at 6 o'clock. He had been in declining health for three years.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Reb F A Lupton of Leasburg. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie McDade, seven sons, Dr. B B McDade of Burlington, C S of Hillsboro, Rt 2, R M of Mebane, A T of Charlottesville, VA, W G of LaGrange, P B of Sanford and M A McDade with the United States Army Air Forces over-seas; two daughters, Mrs. R R Compton of Cedar Grove and Mrs. W B McBroom of Hurdles Mill; and 16 grandchildren.
Mr. McDade was a member of Eagle Lodge No 19 A.F and A M of Hillsboro, a Shriner of New Bern Consistory No 3 and belonged to Oasis Temple, Charlotte.
