Frederick Green McDade, 77, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at his residence.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. McDade was a native of Putnam County and lived in Baldwin County most of his life. He was retired from YDC where he was employed as a cottage parent. Mr. McDade attended Freedom Church and was a Woodmen of the World. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Grace McDade.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hattaway McDade of Milledgeville; two daughters, Karen Gerrald of Franklin, N.C., and Glenda Bracewell of Jones County; a son, Freddy McDade of Milledgeville; two stepdaughters, Donna Evans of Milledgeville and Bonnie Sanders of Eatonton; two stepsons, Earl Evans of Jones County and Robert Evans of Alma; three sisters, Florence Bentley of Gray, Mary Blizzard of Coopers and Sara Harris of Milledgeville; three brothers, Walker McDade and Frank McDade, both of Milledgeville and Robert of Jones County; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Milledgeville has charge of arrangements.
