Robert Arthur McDade

McDADE, Robert Arthur, 75, of Spring Hill, formerly of Hudson, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at home in Spring Hill. He was born in Brighton, Mass., and moved to Hudson from Middleboro, Mass., in 1977 and to Spring Hill from Hudson in 1999. He worked as a police officer for the City of Quincy in Massachusetts and was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea. He was a commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6180 in New Port Richey, past district commander for Veterans of Foreign Wars and was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June McDade of Spring Hill; sons, Robert McDade Jr. and Michael F. McDade of Middleboro, Mass., and Stephen E. McDade and Timothy J. McDade of Spring Hill; daughter, Laurie Carpenter of Inverness; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home Hudson Avenue chapel Hudson
