Mary M. McDade, Dunmore, died Wednesday evening in Scranton. Her husband,
William Henry McDade, died in July 1982.

Born May 1, 1903, daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine Hale McAndrew,
she graduated from West Chester State Teachers College with a degree in
elementary education. Before her marriage, she was a teacher and principal
in the Moosic School District.

 
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Howley, Clarks Green, and Margaret
Harding, Scranton; a son, William, Sherrodsville, Ohio; seven grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Mulhall, and a brother,
Patrick McAndrew.

The funeral will be Monday with Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Church.
Interment, St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass time at the
church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norah Ann Kelly College
Fund, c/o Pennstar Bank, 130 N. Keyser Ave., and the United In Spirit
Campaign at Our Lady of Peace School, 430 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green.
