Tulas McDade, 83

OCEANSIDE - Tulas "Mac" McDade, 83, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at his home.

Born Oct. 19, 1920, in McCaskill, Ark., he lived in Oceanside for 56 years. He retired as a barber for Deluxe Barber Shop. He was a real estate broker and a handyman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 461st Anti-aircraft Artillery Weapons Battalion.

Mr. McDade is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eudora McDade of Oceanside; son David McDade of Oceanside; daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and John Crawford of Vacaville, Priscilla and Brent Lindberg of San Diego and Nancy and Frank Roche of Vista; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Viewing is scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m. and funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Eternal Hills Mortuary with the Rev. Wally Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Rice officiating.

The family suggests donations to Tri-City Hospice, 2095 W. Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92083.
