William Robert McDade
EAST WINDSOR -- William Robert McDade, 68, passed away Tuesday in Bear Creek Assisted Living in West Windsor.
Born in Roebling, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. McDade retired from Standard and Poors in New York after 35 years of service. A graduate of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Hamilton Township Hibernians and the Bordentown Military Alumni Association and was an avid golfer.
Son of the late Fred and Mary Smith, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lorriane Theoharis McDade; two daughters, Melissa Thompson and her husband Paul, and Christie McDade and her husband David Barranco; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ardis and Albert Semptimphelter and Carol and Louis Romanet; a brother and sister-in-law, Vaughn and Debbie Smith; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Jane Theoharis and Gordon and Christine Danser; five grandchildren, Samantha and Patrick Young, Christopher Thompson and Matthew and James Barranco; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St. Hightstown.
Friends and relatives may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
