"My Daddy had a store in Luka from January 1910 to December 1918. He sold the store and building there to Henry Killian and moved to Paul's Valley, Oklahoma in 1919. Jake and I moved to Oklahoma in 1920 but came back to Izard County in August of 1923 and stayed until December 1924. Jay Arnold had the store in Luka then. I guess he had bought out Henry Killian, but a little later, I believe Henry bought it back."
